Hutch powers Sri Lanka's first-ever franchise golf league

HUTCH Sri Lanka has announced its partnership with the Ceylon Golf League (CGL) as the 'Powered by Partner' for the country's first-ever franchise-format golf tournament, marking a bold step in the evolution of premium sports entertainment in Sri Lanka.

The partnership was officially unveiled at a press conference held on 19 August at Cheers Pub, Cinnamon Grand Colombo, setting the stage for an event that will transform golf into a dynamic, citybased sporting spectacle. Scheduled to take place from 5 to 7 December at the Royal Colombo Golf Club, the CGL will see eight privately owned, city-based teams compete in an innovative franchise model inspired by some of the world's most celebrated leagues.
