AFTER three action-packed days of high-stakes rallies, roaring crowds, and unforgettable match moments, the curtain closed on the first-ever Sri Lanka Padel League (SLPL) with the Colombo Aces emerging as the inaugural champions.

In a dramatic finale held at Padel House, CR & FC, the Colombo Aces defeated the Galle Fort Mariners in a high-intensity tie that went the full distance. With one win apiece going into the Mixed Doubles, the Aces held their nerve to take the decider 6-2, 7-6 (7-4), etching their name into Sri Lankan sporting history.
Colombo Aces Co-owner Viren Beruwalage praised the resilience and chemistry of his team: "Every player showed up with heart and hunger. We knew it would come down to those last few points, and they held strong. Winning the very first SLPL title is something we'll remember forever."
