Gallas insists Chelsea now average side
FORMER Chelsea star William Gallas has accused the club's owners of turning the Blues into an "average club" that no one fears.
The two-time Premier League winner played at Stamford Bridge during their trophy-laden era, but that has all changed under Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital.
More than £1billion has been shelled out on new talent but Chelsea have had two of their worst seasons in recent memory and Gallas does not believe many would get near the Blues teams of old.
