JODIE CUNNINGHAM is ready to realise more childhood dreams with her best friend Emily Rudge when the new women's rugby league season kicks off.

Last season both players helped St Helens to an historic Challenge Cup win against Leeds Rhinos in what was the first women's final to be fought out at Wembley.

It was a fairy-tale moment for the pair, and England skipper said: Cunningham remember being stood at Wembley waiting to lift "I the trophy, and I wanted Emily to do it with me because we've been through it all together.
