Deluge amid danger-to-life warning
A MAJOR cleanup is under way today after yesterday's torrential rain brought a wet and gloomy start to December.
Wales bore the brunt of it after the Met Office issued a "danger to life" warning for much of the nation.
A rare amber warning for fast-flowing and deep flood water yesterday covered most of South Wales, which was expected to be deluged by up to a month's worth of rain in just 24 hours.
A Swansea roundabout which previously flooded so badly that locals swam, fished and paddleboarded around it was closed again yesterday due to flooding.
The M48 Severn Bridge was shut because of strong winds.
