DONALD Trump erupted in fury yesterday after Israel and Iran threatened to tear up a ceasefire deal he had triumphantly announced just hours earlier.

The seething US president lashed out at both sides in an extraordinary outburst before jetting off to The Hague for a key NATO summit.

As he left the White House yesterday, Trump raged: “You basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don’t know what the f*** they’re doing. Do you understand that?”

Trump, right, had declared on Monday night that hostilities between the two warring enemies had come to an end after nearly two weeks of air and missile strikes. But the truce unravelled almost immediately. Just minutes after Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his country had accepted the peace deal, his military claimed a missile had been launched from Iran and vowed to strike back hard.
