The British pub named as one of the world's most exclusive restaurants
Daily Express
|August 25, 2025
THE nation's most exclusive restaurant is a pub known for its roasts so popular they get booked out quicker than the Glastonbury festival.
The Bank Tavern is one of just two British venues to make the global list in which experts named the places whose tables are hardest to snag.
The Bristol favourite has only seven tables with space for up to 40 diners.
It had to stop taking bookings after winning the Observer Food Monthly Awards 2019 as its six-month waiting turned into a four-year backlog.
