The Big Four 'must work with Government over Al' – Lammy

THE Big Four audit giants and ministers must work together as artificial intelligence becomes more important in business, the Foreign Secretary has insisted.

Top accounting firms, including PwC, KPMG and EY, met with diplomats in the City to discuss how AI can enhance growth and security. Deloitte is set to meet with David Lammy too.

Mr Lammy said: "Technology is the frontline of geopolitics. We are in a hyper-competitive race between nations - and companies - to reap the advantages of tools like AI."

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office strategy, launched in March, is for diplomatic staff to secure trade deals and foreign government contracts for UK firms.
