Slot's slick Reds get a chorus of approval

THE chant from the Kop went up just before the end.

It was a rather understated chorus of "Arne Slot, Arne Slot, la, la, la, la" which drew a little wave of recognition from the new head coach in his first Premier League home game.

After the final whistle, Slot waved to the fans again and the whole of Anfield cheered.

Following a legend like Jurgen Klopp was always going to be a tough gig, but the fans have already seen enough to believe Slot can do the job.
