Rail hero Siggy, 85, has no plans to halt

HE'S the oldest UK rail employee - but 85-year-old Siggy Cragwell is still not ready for the sidings.
He started work hours after arriving from Barbados in 1962. Thameslink veteran Siggy tried to retire at 65 but missed his job, so returned four weeks later.
The Elstree and Borehamwood station assistant was part of the Windrush generation of migrants from the Caribbean.
He met Prince William at the unveiling of the National Windrush Monument at Waterloo in 2022, where they spoke about their shared love of cricket.
