Putin 'must end war on Ukraine in 10-12 days'

VLADIMIR Putin must end his invasion of Ukraine in 10 or 12 days or face crippling sanctions and tariffs, Donald Trump declared yesterday.

The president said he was "very disappointed" with the Russian leader after failed attempts to broker peace.

He said Putin's forces ordered deadly air strikes just hours after he talked to him on the phone.

Mr Trump said Putin now had only "10 or 12 days" to stop the war, rather than the previous 50-day deadline.

It came after a Russian overnight attack involving 328 drones and seven missiles injured eight people, including a child, in Kyiv.
