Puffin pic secures prize for teenage twitcher Anwen

THIS picture of a plaintive puffin has been picked for the top prize in the RSPCA Young Photographer Awards.
Anwen Whitehead, 15, was named overall winner yesterday after snapping the brooding bird resting in wildflowers on Skomer Island, South Wales.
The delighted teenager said she would happily spend 10 hours in a bird hide or out in a field in camouflage gear to capture the perfect shot.
"That's my happy place," she added.
"It's very relaxing to be out in nature and away from screens. It allows me to slow down a little bit.
