Harmison’s plea to save Archer for biggest Tests
ENGLAND should treat Jofra Archer like a prize racehorse if they are to have the best chance of gaining revenge over India and overcoming Australia in the Ashes.
Archer's last Test was in 2021, but England are hopeful the seamer will be available for their T20 World Cup title defence in the Caribbean in June. However, former England fast bowler Harmison believes the next two marquee five-Test series against India in the summer of 2025 then in Australia the winter following should take priority for Archer.
