Norrie impressed by fellow Frog Fearnley's giant leap forward

CAM NORRIE has hailed his fellow Horned Frog Jacob Fearnley's big jump into the world's top 50 as an "amazing story".

As the pair meet today here at the French Open, it means British tennis is guaranteed to have a man into the second week in Paris for the first time since Andy Murray in 2017. Norrie, the 2022 Wimbledon semi-finalist, has become a role model for young British stars by playing for the Texas Christian University before breaking into the world's 10.

Fearnley, 23, followed in his footsteps by also going to the Forth Worth college, where the sports teams are nicknamed the Horned Frogs. They even shared the same coach, Devin Bowen.
