My op to cut out brain cancer was cancelled

A CANCER patient has told how emergency surgery to remove a brain tumour had to be postponed due to the global IT meltdown.
Chantelle Mooney, 41, was due to be operated on last Friday morning but found out as she waited that it couldn't go ahead.
She said: "At the time I was upset because it had already been pushed back by a day.
"But I didn't realise how much it would have affected the operation - it would put my life at risk.
"The doctors wouldn't have been able to do brain scans, blood transfusions... they couldn't even access my medical records.
