THE mother and siblings of a schoolgirl killed by air pollution watched in the House of Commons as a clean air Bill in her memory was reintroduced.
The proposed legislation, dubbed Ella's Law, was brought by the Green Party's Sian Berry.
It is named after Ella Adoo Kissi-Debrah, nine, whose death in 2013 was the first in England attributed officially to air pollution.
Ella's twins Sophia and Robert, and her mother Roswant clean air to be a human right in the UK.
Rosamund said: "I am delighted Sian and the cross-section of MPs are taking forward Ella's Law. Tackling air pollution should not be a partisan issue - it affects us all, in every constituency in the country.
"But we know that its harshest effects are felt by poorer and marginalised communities, including ethnic minorities.
