Mum is given suicide son's degree after uni mistake

THE mother of a student who took his own life after being wrongly told he was not eligible to graduate collected his degree yesterday.

Ethan Scott Brown, 23, was due to graduate from the University of Glasgow last December.

But three months earlier it told him he had not been awarded a grade for one course and would not be getting his BSc geography degree with honours.
