WEMBLEY WAS FINAL SIGN TO SLOT THAT ISAK WAS THE ONE
ARNE SLOT has revealed exactly when he knew he had to have Alexander Isak in his team - the day the Newcastle striker ruined his Wembley glory.
Isak scored the Toon's second goal as they beat Liverpool 2-1 in the Carabao Cup final in March and by the end of the transfer saga of the summer, he was at Anfield as a British record signing.
He scored the opener in the 2-0 win at West Ham last Sunday for his first Liverpool goal in the Premier League but was taken off on Wednesday in the 1-1 draw with Sunderland.
Once more it saw the Sweden star on the periphery, replaced with Slot's side needing a goal.
