ENGLAND rugby ace Billy Vunipola has "unreservedly apologised" after a drinking binge that saw him twice tasered by Spanish police before being arrested at a Majorcan nightclub.
The 31-year-old star appeared to laugh at officers as they tried to taser him before being detained at around 4.30am on Sunday morning.
It occurred after he took off his shirt and allegedly threatened customers and staff with bottles and chairs.
Tense
Vunipola, who is 6ft 2in tall and weighs more than 20 stone, was then said to have been tasered after assaulting an officer.
He was taken to nearby Son Espases Hospital "for assessment and arrest" and was said to have needed to be sedated and bound to his bed. Reports later showed video footage of him being led from a police van into a local police station.
