MI6 steps up recruiting of Russia spies on dark web

MI6 is creating dark web communication channels as it increases efforts to recruit spies in Russia.

For the first time, intelligence officers will create a portal used by criminals and dissidents trying to hide their identities.

Security chiefs hope it will allow Britain to recruit more spies to give sensitive details linked to Russian, Chinese, Iranian or terrorist activity.

It comes as three people were arrested on suspicion of spying for Russia.
