Lost bomber found after 82 years hidden on the seabed

A SECOND World War bomber that was shot down, killing three Allied airmen, has been found on the seabed nearly 82 years later.

Leslie Row was on a photo mission when his Martin Baltimore was attacked by German fighters.

The Royal Australian Air Force plane crashed near the Greek island of Antikythera, killing Leslie, from Gravesend, Kent, plus air gunners Colin Walker of the RAAF and John Gartside from the Royal New Zealand Air Force.

Now divers have given closure to the trio's relatives after finding the plane 200ft down in the Aegean.
