Lammy’s lack of candour a new low in prison crisis

LABOUR has shown it cannot secure our borders and now it is proving it cannot keep prisoners under lock and key.

‘The country will be appalled that another foreign offender has been released on to our streets, Brahim Kaddour-Cherif, a 24-year-old Algerian, was released from London's HMP Wandsworth on October 29.

‘This fiasco comes on the heels of the mistaken release of Hadush Kebatu, an Ethiopian guilty of sex offences.
