Just the ticket...my £500k Omaze win

A HOTEL receptionist scooped a life-changing £500,000 after she was encouraged to buy an Omaze ticket by a guest who had just won a £2.5million home in the monthly prize draw.

Hannah Symes, 31, will now be able to buy a home of her own with the windfall which landed the day before her birthday.

The mum-of-five heard about Omaze from Jo Booth, who was checking into the Yorkshire hotel where Hannah was working after winning a house nearby.

Hannah, who lives in North Yorkshire, said:

“She told me all about Omaze and why she was in Yorkshire. I thought to myself ‘that sounds like a bit of alright’.

“So I gave Omaze a Google and it all looked great, amazing houses and raising money for charities, so I thought, ‘what’s there to lose?’ and signed up.
