Ignore market noise as it wobbles over AI

All eyes will be on the Budget today but the stock market has other priorities, as fears of a bubble in artificial intelligence (AI) rattle global share prices.

Markets have been highly volatile lately, and many will have seen the impact in their Stocks and Shares ISAs, pensions or drawdown plans.

Tom Stevenson, investment director at Fidelity International, said: "Markets fall back by 5% all the time. A degree of volatility is simply the price we pay for the long run outperformance of shares over smoother asset classes like cash and bonds."
