Charlotte Bailey, 49, who lives in Staffordshire, has had asthma since she was a child and suffers from hay fever from March until the end of September because she is sensitive to grass, tree and weed pollen.

She explains:

Summer is not a great time for me as hot weather, pollen and mould spores trigger my asthma, so I have to be extra careful. I find my symptoms increase during the summer months, causing me more breathlessness, coughing, chest tightness and wheezing.
