'I know I'm right man for the job'
Daily Express
|November 10, 2025
ENGLAND head coach Shaun Wane insists he is the right man to lead the national side into the Rugby League World Cup next year.
His players may not have done the same, but Wane came out swinging after Australia completed an Ashes whitewash over England, a 30-8 victory at Headingley on Saturday afternoon enough to clinch a 3-0 series win.
Wigan-born Wane has been in the England hot seat since 2020 and is adamant that he has the support of his players and the RFL ahead of the tournament in Australia next year.
