RASMUS HOJLUND says he is not disheartened by Manchester United’s search for a new striker.

United are looking to sign RB Leipzig’s £70million-rated hotshot Benjamin Sesko to replace Hojlund as first-choice striker. Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins, right, is also a target.

Hojlund, signed from Atalanta for £72m two years ago, said he would welcome the competition and that it would only sharpen him up.

Asked if he had received any assurances from the club about his future, he said: “Nothing so far. The most important thing is to keep working hard and stay focused and then we'll see what happens.
