Grooming gang victim: Labour 'gaslighted' us

AN angry grooming gang survivor accused ministers of "gaslighting" victims as she quit the national inquiry.

Ellie-Ann Reynolds claimed Home Office staff tried to stop her speaking to her family for support and were terrified of being branded racist.

She called the probe a "whitewash" and alleges it is meant to fail so senior officials' failings are not exposed.

Ms Reynolds and fellow survivor Fiona Goddard accused Labour of "sabotaging" the probe, claiming mishandling by the Home Office had led to them quitting the inquiry's victims and survivors liaison panel.
