Grain row halts arms support by Poland

POLAND has said to will no longer supply weapons to its previously strong ally Ukraine amid a dispute over grain.

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki stressed that his nation's focus would now switch to defending itself with more modern weapons.

He remained adamant that Poland was still helping Ukraine defeat the "Russian barbarian" by maintaining a military hub, but would not agree to Poland's markets being "destabilised" by Ukraine grain imports.
