FORWARD GLAD TO GET OFF ROLLER-COASTER
Daily Express

Anything for quiet life now, says Eze
EBERECHI EZE wants to get off the roller-coaster ride he has been on and just focus on his football.
The forward found himself entrenched in an emotional and noisy few weeks, ones that have elevated his career to a whole new level.
Initially it saw Eze snub Tottenham in favour of joining rivals Arsenal in a dream £67.5 million move.
It was a transfer he helped mastermind, courtesy of a late phone call to Mikel Arteta that convinced him to go.
He was then paraded on the pitch ahead of Arsenal’s win over Leeds, when he was interviewed by Ian Wright.
Eze also received a call from Thierry Henry to congratulate him on joining his old club.
The former Crystal Palace star was also named in Thomas Tuchel’s England squad for the World Cup’ qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia.
The 27-year-old admitted, after playing 78 minutes for the Three Lions on Saturday, that it all felt a bit surreal. Eze said: “There’s been a lot going on but it’s fun for me. This is why I play football.
