PRESENTER and former cricket star Andrew "Freddie" Flintoff has said he did not know "if I had it in me to carry on" after his crash at the Top Gear test track in 2022.
He made the revelation on the third series of his Field Of Dreams series, in which he tries to assemble new cricket teams from teenagers with limited experience of the sport.
In the first episode, he tries to build his first team of girls in Blackpool, with one teen asking him: "How hard was it to leave your house again?"
Freddie, 47, said: "I've suffered with things like depression in the past, but this was different.
"I didn't know if I had it in me to carry on, not that I wanted to die or anything like that, I just didn't know if I had it in me, and that took a while.
