FIN SMITH held his nerve to put over a dramatic last-minute penalty as Northampton beat the league leaders - and he knew just how big a moment it was.

In a pulsating match of nine tries, Bath had recovered from being 19 points down to lead with three minutes to go and outscore their opponents by five tries to four.

Man-of-the-match Smith earned 15 points and sealed the victory after Sam Underhill had offended.

Smith said: "Before the last kick, I thought that this better go over because, after missing the previous two, I thought I'd let the boys down."
