There's renovation chaos and cute animals aplenty as Amanda, Clive and their brood return for more fun on the farm in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales
-
Whether it's a lamb falling down a mineshaft, a bridge breaking, or a goat climbing a quad bike, there is always something happening on Our Farm Next Door.
Summer, spring, autumn or winter, chaos abounds in the most charming way at Ravenseat Farm in Swaledale. But the chaos isn’t limited to Amanda and Clive Owen or their brood of nine children — it also affects the crew.
“One of the crew managed to crash his drone into a roof and we had to get the children to get it off the roof with a fishing rod,” shares Amanda. “That was a highlight for the children, probably a low point for the drone operator.”
When you're beholden to the English weather things are bound to go wrong with bleak regularity. Condensation on the cameras is also an ongoing niggle, while breakdowns on the rugged countryside can mean a long walk in the elements carrying heavy and valuable equipment.
“I managed to break down in the off-roader further down on the farm and we had to walk back, and the director was carrying all his kit,” Amanda adds. “We had to do the walk of shame and come home. It's had its moments.”
