THE annual battle of the supermarket Christmas dinners is well under way, with a dramatic slice in the price of one store's turkeys fuelling the cost-cutting.

- BY KATIE ELLIOTT

Tesco has just unveiled a festive dinner for Clubcard holders that serves six people for £9.55or just £1.59 a head.

At the centre of Tesco's offer is a sharp cut to turkey prices. The supermarket has halved the cost of small, medium and large whole birds for Clubcard members, at just £2.50 per kilo.
