Father jailed for battering and shaking son to death

A FATHER who shook his six-month-old son to death was jailed for 15 years yesterday.
David Hollick was guilty of a "grotesque" breach of trust in attacking Kairo, who suffered skull fractures and brain injuries.
Hollick, 29, cried at Birmingham Crown Court before he was sentenced by Mr Justice Dove yesterday.
In February 2020 Hollick's former partner Adina Johnson dropped their son off at his home as usual for the weekend.
Hollick had moved back in with his parents after his relationship with Ms Johnson ended.
