Farmer sues hotel for £200,000 after he was shot in leg

Venue disputes claim for injuries
A FARMER who was accidentally blasted in the leg by a gamekeeper from a neighbouring estate is suing for more than £200,000.
Samuel Lecocq, 33, suffered a gun-shot injury to his left thigh after Guy Whitney unintentionally set off his gun as the pair chatted in July 2020.
Mr Lecocq, owner of Park House Farm, near Whitby, North Yorks, sued Classic Lodges Ltd, owner of Grinkle Park - the next-door manor and 3,000-acre estate - over the accident.
