Farage: Tory deal 'is not happening'

NIGEL Farage has insisted that local election pacts between Reform UK and the Conservatives are not on the agenda.

The Reform leader was reacting to reports that the two parties could strike deals to prop each other up in order to take power in town halls across England after the ballots on May 1.

But speaking at a British Steel plant in Scunthorpe, North Lines, yesterday Mr Farage said: “No, it's not happening.

“This place is closing because of their policies. It's the Conservatives that have closed down the steel industry and Labour are picking up the pieces.
