Family fear teacher killed by asbestos at her school

A RETIRED teacher died believing that asbestos exposure while pinning children’s artwork to walls may have killed her.
Marlene Broad, who worked at Bristol’s Hareclive Primary between 1960 and 1999, had been diagnosed with mesothelioma three months before her death. The cancer is usually linked to asbestos.
Before she died aged 86, the mum of two asked specialist lawyers to investigate her case.
