Rebecca Wilcox confessed the family no longer consider public holidays like Easter as milestones - because time is not on their side.

Dame Esther, 83, has stage four lung cancer and is now fighting alongside the Daily Express to try and force a change in the law to allow assisted dying.

Rebecca, 44, plans to spend Easter with her family, seeing her mother on Monday.

She is now the president of ChildLine, the charity founded by her legendary campaigner and presenter mother in 1986.
