‘Eating chocolate biscuits may help you lose weight’

LOSING weight could be made easier by tucking into chocolate biscuits, according to scientists.

Researchers added a bitter compound from common wormwood to a dark chocolate biscuit.

Some studies have found the plant may suppress appetite.

Coca-rich dark chocolate is also thought to support weight loss when eaten in moderation by reducing appetite and sugar cravings.

And 11 healthy people who ate the special biscuits in an early study reported feeling less hungry later — while their satiety hormones were given a boost.
