Matt Doherty is convinced lightning can strike twice for struggling Wolves and they can soon start climbing the table.

Wolves fans are at breaking point after a sixth defeat of the season leaves them marooned at the foot of the table, already five points away from safety.

But the Republic of Ireland international believes last season's great escape under Vitor Pereira (above) can inspire them.

Wolves came alive during the second half of the season, notably in March, going undefeated and winning six in a row.
