Determination pays off with Bayern title ending long wait

NO ONE deserves a trophy - and the recognition - more than Harry Kane.

It is a tribute to the hard work, single-minded attitude and determination that has made him one of the greatest players in the history of English football.

Kane admitted it had been a long time coming but Bayern Munich winning the Bundesliga title has ended his 15-year wait.

If it has taken a huge amount of jibes, digs and jokes to motivate Kane a bit more, then so be it.

He said recently: "There are many people who, throughout my career, only talk about the fact I haven't won a title yet.

"It would be nice to silence a few of them."

He has now and you could see it in Kane's celebrations at the weekend just how much it meant to the striker.
