Defectors 'will hand councils to Reform'

REFORM hopes to seize control of more councils in the months to come following its victory in last week’s local elections.

Nigel Farage’s party exceeded expectations by winning an overall majority on 10 authorities and it is also the largest party on four others.

It would take only a small number of defections from rival parties for Reform to gain overall control of more town halls.
