Damp and cold homes a problem for millions

NEARLY eight million Britons are living in cold, damp homes, analysis suggests.

Polling for the End Fuel Poverty Coalition found 14% said they suffer such conditions.

Applied across the adult population that equates to 7.7 million people.

Those suffering health problems are significantly more likely to say they live in a cold, damp house. And just over a quarter of people had mould at home in the past year.
