Emery hit by no-shows for his 100th Europa tie
UNAI EMERY admitted John McGinn could be sidelined for “some weeks” as Aston Villa's captain joins a host of players absent for tonight's Europa League clash with Fenerbahce.
McGinn was forced off in the 18th minute against Everton on Sunday and Villa are sweating over further tests, with fellow midfielder Boubacar Kamara already likely to miss the rest of the campaign due to a knee injury. “We are still waiting because he [McGinn] is still visiting some doctors to have a decision what to do,” said Villa boss Emery.
“It could be some weeks. It depends on the doctor and for him, how he feels.”
The injuries add to a growing list on the medical table at Villa Park alongside Amadou Onana, Emi Martinez and Ross Barkley, who will also be missing for the trip to Turkey.
