Cockney Rebel Steve's £3.1m music business

MUSIC legend Steve Harley was running a business worth  more than £3million before he died.

The Cockney Rebel frontman's firm Comeuppance Ltd made money from his music-making, touring and merchandise.

Annual accounts filed to Companies House show that for the 12 months to the end of January last year, the firm had £3.1million in cash and assets.

It also had a corporation tax bill of more than £500,000 based on a projected income of around five times that figure for 2023.
