Cleverly returns to the Tory front bench in housing role

SIR James Cleverly has returned to the Tory front bench to help fight Reform UK in a shakeup of Kemi Badenoch’s top team.

The ex-Foreign Secretary is now Angela Rayner’s opposite number as shadow housing, communities and local government secretary.

Sir James, who has also served as Home Secretary, will be an experienced hand against Reform leader Nigel Farage.
