CHAIRMAN YASIR IS ADAMANT OVER ISAK

NEWCASTLE chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan has stepped in personally to insist wantaway striker Alexander Isak is not for sale at any price.

Al-Rumayyan, also chairman of the LIV Golf tour, has intervened rarely in the day-to-day running of the club since the Saudis took control in October 2021.

The 55-year-old was present on the final day of last season when Newcastle qualified for the Champions League.

And he celebrated on the Wembley pitch when Eddie Howe's side beat Liverpool to lift the Carabao Cup when Isak, left, scored their second in a 2-1 win.

Now Newcastle's main power broker is on a collision course with Isak and his representatives, who are set on a move to Liverpool.
