Camilla reveals King is 'doing extremely well'

QUEEN Camilla last night stepped out in public for her first working engagement since the King's cancer diagnosis and quelled the fears of well-wishers.

She told Ben Abbott, 40, of Wiltshire Air Ambulance, who asked how the King was: "He is doing extremely well under the circumstances.

"He is very touched by all of the letters and messages the public have been sending. That's very cheering."

Camilla, 75, was on good form as she arrived in wind and rain for a musical evening at Salisbury Cathedral.
