Cabrera makes a miserable Major

ANGEL CABRERA'S return to The Masters ended with a miserable eight-over round.
-
The 2009 winner at Augusta National competed in his first Major since getting out of prison in 2023.
Cabrera spent 30 months behind bars for assaulting two ex-girlfriends but suited up for a Masters once again on Thursday.
His appearance was met with resistance from women’s rights groups but Masters and Augusta National chairman Fred Ridley defended his participation.
Cabrera’s involvement, however, proved to be short-lived. The 55-year-old Argentinian followed up a first round of 75 with a second of 80 to finish the tournament 11 over.
